The beginning of the road.
Everyone has to start somewhere right? There's such a humbling beauty in being a newbie at something...and it can be pretty uncomfortable too. Especially if you have this grand vision in your mind, and it's not quite there yet.
But even in those initial moments, remember that where you are is valuable and perfect, no matter what it looks like. Where you're at right now is the stepping stone to build from - to take that next leap (or tiny step) forward. Keep making those movements, and eventually - sooner that you realize - you'll witness your vision becoming a reality.
I'll let you in on a secret. This is my sixth attempt at creating a platform to share my gifts with the world. Each time before this went the same way: I made a website, socials media accounts, etc., started opening up to world - and then I deleted what I made before it ever got anywhere. Five times this happened...crazy right?
I started my first youtube channel when I was sixteen, sharing encouraging content and my light with the world. A few months in however, the voice of my inner critic (I like to call it my inner destroyer) entered the scene, and when it told me things like no one cares what you have to say, and who do you think you are, (and so much more), I listened to it, and shut the whole thing down.
Five times - different platforms, different brand names - same heart-filled message, same soul-aligned gifts longing to be shared with the world, same destructive voice ready to break it all apart.
So here I am now (12 years later), back at it again.
This time however, I brought in reinforcements. I got myself a business coach - someone to hold me accountable through this journey of bringing my vision to life. So for these past few months I've been getting the support I need to face my inner critic, I've been growing in awareness and self-love, and I've been building up some tools that help me better navigate my inner world in order to keep moving forward successfully.

It's not always easy, but this is the very journey that inspires me to share what I learn with others, and that motivates me to keep going. Sometimes that critical voice still shouts loud, and it's a challenge to shift my focus back to my inner peace. But every time I do, I find it incredibly rewarding. Every time I return home to my center - this space of infinite love within me - it causes me to grow, and inspires me to share this experience with others.
So in conclusion, the undertone of this platform - Savarah Studio - is that there is power in tapping into your own personal creative flow and using it to push through every obstacle along the way.
This time, my platform will stay. The more I face my inner destroyer, the more I find that it holds no power. But I do (and so do you).
If facing your inner critic is something you've been struggling with, just know that there is a voice within you that is much stronger. This is the voice of inner peace (you can call it anything you want), and it can help you navigate your way through your thoughts, emotions, and all obstacles. It is waiting for you to tune into the guidance that is always available to you.
Thank you for joining me on this journey. Here's to new beginnings.

Note From Me:
*As I reflect back on experiences I’ve had throughout my life, I find that it brings me great joy to put them into words - to voice what I’ve been through, and to also express any insights learned from each one. Sharing stories seems to satisfy this inner yearning to leave my mark - and at the very least, it always leaves me feeling lighter and more true to myself. So that is why I write, and my intention is to uplift, entertain, and maybe even inspire others to share their own experiences with the world. We all have a story.
